What would Mother Earth wear?
Earth Gowns is a collaborative exhibit by 10 female artists. The “narrative dresses” or “stitched stories” are made by hand using a variety of conventional and non-conventional materials: fabric and paper; recycled and found objects; and items collected from nature. Inspired by beauty, the gowns depict Gaia in her glory: water, plants, creatures, life and death, myth and humanity.
